sunset on the dunes

Thursday, 20 November 2014

i thought it was about time i published these photos from a late summer evening we spent on the dunes nearby. after work, we made the most of one of the last long evenings and headed to sandy acres. i sat barefoot in the sand with a book on my lap watching the boys mess around in the waves below with prototype hand-planes they had made half an hour before. the breeze tangled my blond hair whilst the golden light of the sun setting brushed the marram grass in the most beautiful palette of coastal colours. a quiet reminder of my own sand dunes back home in the south west of france. it was a moment of peace, when your mind takes a rest and let's you forget about time to enjoy every second of the moment.
