backing creativity / two

i am very excited to share with you some of my latest finds on kickstarter. it always feels good and re-energising to find a well-rounded creative project and witness people believing in it. here are a few of my current favourites:

a. coolest cooler — this is one of the best thing i have seen in a while, it is the most complete cooler ever created and has raised more than seven and a half million dollars so far and still has 31 days to go. it not only has an integrated blender, speaker, usb charger, chopping board, plates, knife and bottle opener but has been designed to be portable and help make your outdoor experience the best it could be.

b. venque smart dslr pro bag — i love when i can find a well-designed dslr backpack. this one combines stylish features, functionality and convertibility and on top of that venque believes so much in there products they offer a ten-year warranty.

c. sense — sense is a sophisticated system tucked in a ingeniously designed sphere that tracks your sleeping behaviour and environment of your bedroom, reinventing your alarm and helping you get the precious sleep you need. clever technology if you ask me.

d. miamily hipster developed to help mothers around the world carry their baby close their heart without damaging their back or their baby's hips, this hip baby carrier can be used in nine different ways to accommodate the busy parenting life.

e. oregon to patagonia, a novel of a journey this kind of projects just makes me want to spontaneously book tickets and hit the road. oregon and patagonia are both top destinations on our wish list. so when i stumbled upon this project, an autobiographical novel based on the 16-month bicycle journey from oregon to patagonia, i felt instantly inspired to somehow take part in its making. plus biographical travel novels are one of my favourite kind of read, somehow teleporting readers to new horizons one page at the time.

what are your current favourites? is there any project you would like to spread the word about?
