backing creativity / one

Sunday, 22 June 2014

i found myself spending a lot of time on kickstarter lately, browsing through creative and inspiring projects all around the world. i backed a few in the past few months including the alphabet family journal, openhouse magazine and the before project, and seeing them coming to life and bringing small communities of people scattered around the globe to believe in an idea is something quite beautiful. have you ever backed a project?

here are a few of my current favourites:

a. kangaroo light — a playful, practical and portable multi-purposed light
b. edyn — a smart garden monitor which tracks environmental conditions, helping your plants to thrive
c. qwerky write — a mechanical keyboard with the feel of a vintage typewriter
d. wellen women — a classic beach-inspired women clothing collection made in california
e. surf site tin type — a book of contemporary tin type portraits of surfers around the world
