current observations

recently jodi from practising simplicity, one of my favourite corner of the web, posted a list of random thoughts, a list of current observations, which almost perfectly described where she was at, at that specific moment in time. i read her blog religiously, she is full of wisdom, softness and talent.

i started writing that same list and i am thinking about making it a regular features on rewilding, a chance to stop for a minute and acknowledge where i am at and the littlest things that make today.

wanting / a new camera  trying to save for it.
looking / at the flowers blossoming at every street corner.

wasting / too much time worrying.
sewing / i bought some cath kidston fabric in the sale a while back, i still need to find a purpose for it.
wishing / to open a coffee shop.
enjoying / time off work.
waiting / for the weather to get warmer and go for a swim in the sea.
liking / how my blog is shaping up.
wondering / what surprises life’s got waiting for us.



loving / going for evening classes at the arts university.
hoping / for more wonders.
marvelling / at bees, my current obsession.
needing / down time with jack.
smelling / my new body mist fig fiction from & other stories.
wearing / the daisy dress jack bough me a few weeks ago
following / my instincts.
noticing / my strengths and weaknesses.
knowing / that i need to believe in myself.
thinking / my mother. 
bookmarking / the bespoke letterpress wedding prints of the v&a shop
opening / a new roll of film.
giggling / at how silly i look in a beekeeping suit.
feeling / excited about the summer.
