a winter walk in hengistbury head

Tuesday, 18 February 2014

hengistbury head is just a few minutes down our house and a chance for us to get some fresh air as well as a nice view over bournemouth. we took a walk down the beach passing dog walkers and families catching the last few hours of winter light. jack loves talking about the cliffs formation and the pebbles long shore drift explaining me all the details of the process. i collected a few pieces of sea glass i found on the beach for my modest collection — an half empty jar of green and blue shades of polished glass.
